We supply poultry housing from our own designs or to customer requirements, all our houses are built from tanalith pressure treated wood , so will last for years, all hinges and handles are galvanised and any weld mesh used is also galvanised , floors and nest boxes are made with wbp plywood (exterior grade) , so with a little care in handling these house's will last for many years to come, and if given a coat of exterior woodstain they can be quite an attractive addition to your garden.
Keeping poultry ourselves means the housing is tried and tested unlike some of the other designs around. The house is the most important part of keeping poultry so wherever you get it , be it here or elsewhere , be sure it is of sound quality and fit for the job in hand , stay clear of plain untreated wood as this will become loose at the joints and will rot very quickly when exposed to the elements
After going to all the bother of sourcing good stock it will be all in vain if the fox is able to get into your hen house when it starts to rot 12 months down the line, take it from me ,i am getting calls everyday about this .
Our house prices are very competitive for the type of materials used ,you will get cheaper housing but not of this quality of build and at the end of the day a cheap house is just that.

The country ark is ideal for the keeper who will be mainly free ranging their birds, but occasionally wants that weekend of relaxation and beer somewhere else, and know that the birds will be safe confined within the ark for that short time.Access to the top floor is via a stairs In the picture across it is seen with ark axles which makes it moveable with 1 person but even with these it is quite a heavy lift
The ark can be moved whenever need be ,it is quite a big ark and therefore it is quite heavy, being a 2 man lift .

up video of this product it is seen here set out with ducks in mind
This particular ark was designed at the request of a poultry fancier who was having no luck keeping his beloved ducks out of reach of dogs and foxes ,this house is roughly 8ft x 4 ft with 5ft of that being open run area the rest being the night ark with nest box and removeable floor, with the addition of the ark axle it can be easily moved on a daily basis .

This house measures 4ft x3ft and is suitable for 8-10 birds, there are 3 nest boxes built in with access from a hinged panel in the side, as this house is not that high off the ground the roof is covered with a bitiumous corrugate product , which if bumped
into is soft and would do
less damage than galvanise and will also last a lot longer than a felt roof The birds enter and leave through the hatch door seen here in the front of the house ,this leaves the main door as the cleaning access. This house can be fitted with a moveable run if required but it would not be very practical ,if you had 8 hens in the house the run would need to be quite big,the house is more for a free range set up.
but This house is the same design as the leinster house but bigger , it measures 5ft x 4ft and 6" taller and is suitable for at least 15 birds, there are 4 nest boxes built in with access from a hinged panel in the side, as this house is not that high off the ground the roof is covered with a bitiumous corrugate product , which if bumped into is soft and would do less damage than galvanise and will
also last a lot longer than a felt roof. It is reasonably heavy so as to be sturdy in the windy weather ,not that heavy that it can't be moved , 2 men can pick up this house by the lifting handles and move to a new location

The birds enter and leave through the hatch door seen here in the front of the house ,this leaves the main door as the cleaning access
Seen here an inside view showing 4 roosts each at 5 ft long,ie 20 ft of roost
This house can be fitted with a moveable run if required but it would not be very practical ,if you had 8 hens in the house the run would need to be quite big,the house is more for a free range set up.
