About Us
Having been brought up in the countryside i have a great interest in a wide variety of wldlife, domestic animals and poultry , as seen here below in this photo taken in 1971 here i am sharing a meal with my mothers hens, so from a very early age i have been totally fascinated with hens it never ever ceases to amaze me , the twenty one day miracle of life that a hen is able to perform when turning an egg into a cute fluffy chick . 
The birds are a never ending source of fun, i often go out in the morning and stand with my chin on my hands often for an hour at a time just watching and admiring the hens , and the cockerals protective behaviour with them . And then there is the added bonus of having a daily supply of your very own free range eggs.
We are not a full time buisness , the birds are a hobby ,so when there are excess breeding stock these are sold off to help with feed expenses and the upkeep of the housing and runs and so on .so on the same note i would ask people to be patient when looking for birds there are only a limited supply at any time.
